Cost per Engagement is calculated one of two ways depending on how new an Influencer is to the platform.

If an Influencer has not completed any assignments, then the CPE is estimated based on the rate they have selected divided by their total reach.

If an Influencer has completed one or more assignments, then the CPE is calculated by dividing their rate by the average engagement across all programs.
