A: To track clicks, the system turns generic URLs entered in the Brand URLs field into Google-metrics URLs. Influencers, on their side, see only the URL Descriptions and specially wrapped URLs. If you provide generic URLs in the Assignment Overview, Requirements Document, or anywhere else, influencers may use them, foiling tracking efforts. To avoid that issue, in all assignment communications, tell influencers to share links as found in the platform: “Link to the [URL Description] by using the Tap-provided URL.”
